
Kliver commissioned a sheet-metal laser in Kaliningrad Region, Russia, Interfax reported on 16 July 2025, citing the company.

Two installations
- The operating sheet machine had a 20-kilowatt laser and could cut metal up to 50 millimetres thick, handling sheets weighing up to eight tonnes.
- Profile equipment was scheduled for commissioning in the third quarter of 2025.
Profile specifications covered material up to 12 metres long and three tonnes in weight. Pipes, I-beams and channels were among the listed workpieces.
Earlier staff training
A partner release published by RBC on 18 April described the company's participation in the Labour Productivity programme. Regional Competence Centre specialists had conducted initial training in process mapping, the 5S system and production analysis. Applying those tools to production processes was described as the next stage, with the centre's support. The April account presented this as preparation for process improvements, not a measured productivity result from the later equipment installation.
The April release identified offshore oil-and-gas structures, modules for liquefied natural gas projects and civil shipbuilding as the company's industrial activities.
A separate project that week
On 14 July, Interfax reported completion and launch of a platform topside built for Lukoil's D33 Baltic project, citing Svetly municipal head Sergey Bevz. The structure travelled along the Kaliningrad sea canal towards its offshore installation site. The report gave the support block's height as more than 90 metres and the planned installation depth as 75 metres. It described transport towards the site, not completed offshore installation. Neither report attributed construction of the platform to the newly commissioned laser.
The earlier delivery timetable
A company report dated 18 June 2024 had already described the Baltic platform under construction for Lukoil-KMN, with handover planned for 2025. That earlier timetable places the July transport operation within a project that preceded the new laser's commissioning. The two developments were reported during the same week, but this chronology does not establish that the new equipment was used to manufacture the transported structure.
