Two formats in one unit

Documented playback functions
- The user guide describes vinyl pause as lifting the tonearm while the record continues rotating.
- Record repetition returns to the beginning of the side; CD repetition offers a single-track setting, all tracks or repetition switched off.

An earlier compatibility notice
A support notice updated on 26 November 2025 explained that the remote was designed for a forthcoming complementary speaker range, leaving some buttons without full functionality at that time. With Silver Point 5 speakers, it described pausing both devices together but the speaker not necessarily resuming immediately. The company characterized the behaviour described in that notice as normal with the speaker combination then discussed. That dated notice is not confirmation of a subsequent speaker release or a description of every present-day configuration.
The physical-format market
Separate BPI figures published on 31 December 2025 put UK physical album sales at 17.6 million units for the year, up 1.4%. This was their second successive annual increase following nineteen years of declining physical-format sales. Vinyl accounted for 7.6 million units, increasing 13.3% in its eighteenth successive year of growth. Physical purchases also supplied most chart sales when 34 of the year's 43 number-one albums first reached the top. These industry figures concern recorded music, not MIXX equipment sales or the commercial performance of this player.
